Privacy Policy for My Stacks

Effective Date: 6/01/2026

My Stacks is designed to help users track their precious metals, coins, bars, rounds, bulk assets, notes, photos, and related asset details. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.

My Stacks does not require an account and does not send your asset inventory to our servers.

Information Stored by the App

My Stacks may store the following information locally on your device:

How Your Data Is Stored

Your asset information is stored locally on your device using app storage. My Stacks does not operate a cloud database for your inventory and does not automatically upload your asset information to an external server.

Backups and Restore Files

My Stacks includes backup and restore features. When you create a backup file, you choose where to save or share that file, such as email, downloads, files, or cloud storage. Any backup file you create is your responsibility to protect and manage.

Camera and Photo Access

The app may request camera or photo-related permissions so you can add front and back images of assets. These images are used only for the asset records you create inside the app.

File Access

The app may use file access to export CSV files, create full backup ZIP files, and restore backup ZIP files selected by the user.

Data Sharing

My Stacks does not sell your personal data. The app does not intentionally share your asset inventory with third parties. If you export, email, upload, or share a backup file, that action is controlled by you and may be subject to the privacy practices of the service you choose.

Data Deletion

You can delete your locally stored app data by using your device settings or the reset option inside the app. Before resetting app data, you should create a backup if you want to keep your assets. Resetting app data may permanently remove locally stored assets and photos from the device.

Children’s Privacy

My Stacks is not directed to children under 13. The app is intended for general users who want to track their own asset information.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
